RECYCLING HITS THE GALPHARM: – ‘KEEP IT UP’ LAUNCHES NEW FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE!
The ‘Keep It Up’ Campaign – the pioneering partnership between Huddersfield Town football Club and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance will be out in force at this Saturdays Town match against Brighton & Hove Albion to launch their new recycling initiative. The unique and environmentally friendly way of fundraising is being driven by ‘Keep It Up’s’ recycling partner Bag it Up.
Town fan’s are being encouraged to bring along any old clothing, paired shoes, textiles and old mobile phones which in turn can be recycled to generate much needed funds for the ‘Keep it Up’ campaign.
There are also a number of yellow recycling banks located in and around the Huddersfield area, including one at the Galpharm Stadium, where recycling can be deposited. You can also use the postcode locator at www.bagitup.org.uk to locate your nearest recycling bank.
Look out for the ‘Keep it Up’ and Bag it Up team outside the main entrance to the Galpharm Stadium before and after Town’s crucial game with Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday and feel free to bring along any of your recycling to give to the team – Bag it Up’s mascot, Bazza Bank will be waiting to collect it all!
