Q: What is the ‘Keep It Up’ appeal all about?
The ‘Keep It Up’ appeal is a pioneering and innovative partnership between HTFC and the YAA. The campaign is being driven by HTFC who want to help the YAA establish a sustainable income stream by fundraising on their behalf.

Q: How will the fundraising work?
There will be a whole host of fundraising events and commercial activities throughout the season taking place in the community and at the Galpharm Stadium at home games. For every £1 that HTFC raise through the ‘Keep It Up’ campaign, 50p will be donated to the YAA and the other 50p will go to Huddersfield Town’s Academy which actively promotes the development of  future football talent from the community.

Q: What do HTFC stand to benefit from the partnership?
HTFC took the decision this season to donate the front of their Home shirts to a charitable organisation. After some consultation, they chose to work with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. HTFC are leading the fundraising campaign in support of the Air Ambulance, and in return will create a further income for their Academy, providing opportunities in sport for young people in Yorkshire.

Q: What do the YAA stand to benefit from the partnership?
The YAA will clearly benefit from increased brand exposure through the partnership by having their distinctive red logo on the front of the Home shirt.  It will also enable the charity to raise further awareness of the work they do and that they are in fact an independent charity who receive no funding from the government.

Q: How long will the partnership run for?
The partnership is planned to run initially for three (3) seasons, with the opportunity for the contract to be revised each year. However, we would sincerely hope that the partnership would continue into the future.

Q: Why has Huddersfield Town not opted for a traditional commercial sponsor?
HTFC were approached by a number of possible commercial partners to sponsor their home kit, however they took the decision to explore a new avenue for the club by donating the sponsorship deal to a charitable organisation. It is simply about two significant Yorkshire icons coming together to help raise funds and awareness for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The Club secured a commercial deal for their away kit, which is sponsored by international pharmaceutical company Thornton + Ross.
